I can't believe The HR Planning Day is just around the corner! (Thursday, 27th November). I'm really looking forward to seeing you there and helping you map out an amazing 2026.

Below is everything you need to know for the day.

What to bring

• If you had a copy of The Essential HR Planner for 2025 and used it this year, you may find it helpful to bring it with you (but please don't worry if you didn't have a copy; it isn't essential to bring it!)
• Your organisation's strategy document (if available).
• Your HR/People strategy (if available).
• Feedback from three people you respect. Three helpful questions to ask them are:

What do you think I do well? What do you think I could be even better at? What advice do you have for me that may help my career going forwards?

Event details

• Timings: The day runs from 10am - 4pm, and you'll be fed and watered throughout the day (I'm particularly looking forward to the pastries and coffee when we first start at 10am ☕️ 🥐).
• Venue: Roehampton Club, Roehampton Lane, London, SW15 5LR.
• Parking: Free on-site (on the left-hand side when you arrive).
• Travelling by train and then walking from the station?: Here's a video I made for you to show you the way.
• Contact: If you need any help on your way to the venue, my number is: 07956 438 082.
• Your planner: Your hardback copy of The Essential HR Planner (2026 edition) will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive.
• 📸 Capturing the day: We'll have a professional photographer with us to document this special event. The photos may be used to share the Planning Day experience in my future communications and marketing (and potentially by our wonderful speaker and photographer, too). If you'd prefer not to be included in the photos, just let me know - I'll completely understand.
